Black and White

The shot took me by surprise. It is a cow's hide still being worn!
Today we discovered a new area called Sils Maria and walked up through lush forests onto the mountain top. The views extended in every direction up to the glaciated peaks and down to the crystal lakes. The cows were enjoying themselves on the mountain top but this one stood out as his coat was black and white as opposed to beige or brown. The cows were most obliging with the photo shoot and seemed to want to have a turn each!
Our discovery of a wee chapel, possibly 12th Century, with frescoes in the domed altar followed by blackcurrant tart in the hotel next door, made our day. For other visitors their highlight is probably paying an extortionate amount for a horse and cart ride.
