Alpine tree line

You may have heard of the "tree line" where the trees only grow up to a certain altitude. It is very distinct in this Engadine valley. This shot was taken towards evening as the light was changing. There is a great waterfall to the lower part of this shot and some wonderful hidden high pastures above the trees.
