East Banqueting House, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire

We were warned to expect persistent rain on Bank Holiday Monday, and that's exactly what was delivered. I drew the curtains back at 6:00 this morning and went straight back to bed, shamelessly staying there for an unseemly number of hours.

Come midday we hit on the idea of a mega brekkie and a Cot World picnic, whatever the weather. The brekkie was delish. We headed out to Chipping Campden, parked near the almshouses, and then wandered the High Street until we reached our fave café, The Old Silk Mill. Great coffee. By then I'd dashed around in the rain taking shots in the vicinity of the East Banqueting House, and was soaked through, especially in the footwear department.
