Monday: Phone and Suitcase

I wonder what was thrown out first - the 'phone or the suitcase?  Or were they thrown out together?  And who would let their suitcase get in such a state?  Or were they well travelled, so much so that the case took a real battering, and did they take a phone with them wherever they went?
