The sun goes down

It's our turn for a bit of sunny weather and today has been lovely. The sun shone from the start and we managed to catch it just before it set tonight.
It was cold first thing with Haar hanging over the Firth. We all took our Ice bucket challenge to raise awareness and funds for Motor neurone disease (ALS/MND).It was nt too bad.
Managed to pull up quite a few weeds before they went to seed and a few stinging nettles that had crept through the fence. The horses have been helping by eating the wild roses and the leaves from the trees that were over hanging.

We drove up to Cromarty to see the sunset as we can't see it this side of the hill till later in the year. It was beautiful and the sky turned a lovely heather colour. Getting dark early now which seems strange after the long hours of the early Summer.
