I didn't realise it was so long ago, but I commented here that it had been a funny year for my Aliums (Alliis?)
While I have, from time to time, found a small bulblet half-way up many stems I think this is the first time I've come across a double-decker Garlic.

I, also, recently, discovered that our Garlic were bought "by accident".
I knew I'd purchased some "Elephant Garlic" I didn't realise there was a variety called "Solo" intended to give a single ginormous clove. Now I know.
I also know that the dreaded Spill Chucker will accept ginormous, without turning a hair.
