A blaze of colour
I took Mum to the Wallington walled garden this afternoon. It was mid afternoon before we managed to get into the car to set off, after one thing and another stopped us. That did include a visit from the fabulous Annettee and Tania who make our house sparkle and from Margret, next door, who came for a chat and to bring Mum's prescription from the surgery.
My aim was for us to see the textile exhibition at Wallington, but the house closes on Tuesdays...... We were able to take our car right to the walled garden. Mum was practising using her walker. It's a new light weight one but has a useful seat when she needs to sit down. She doesn't want me to blip this because it makes her look like she is unable to walk, which is not true. Since she will be 93 in a few days time I thought it was time to blip her and sitting in front of the hot border at Wallington is a good place at the end of summer.
