National Dog Day!

Happy National Dog Day! These are my two pups! They are shih-tzus and they are 8 years old. Mason is the one closest to the camera and Blackie is the other pooch. I have had Blackie since I was 9 years old. Mason was my Nana's dog and we took him in after she passed away. Mason has been with us for about a year and a half. They are very hyper and protective. They both like to play with tennis balls and chase them all around the house. They get along most of the time. Sometimes they fight, but don't we all! They are from the same litter, so they are brothers! Mason was the runt of the litter. When Mason was younger, he had more gray in him, he got darker as he got older. Blackie was named after a dog that my Pop had, and he was his bestfriend. Mason was named Mason because my Pop was involved with the Masonic Lodge, and he was a Mason himself. Even though Blackie and Mason look alike, they have very different personalities. Mason is super hyper and doesn't stop moving, but Blackie is more laid back and he likes to take naps. Sometimes they get on my nerves, but I'll always love the boys!
