Welcome to Yellowstone

Almost from the moment we entered Yellowstone National Park it rained. We got stuck in bison jams when bison decided they would carry on regardless and wander down the road. I can't complain as I managed to take this photograph out of the car window. We managed a few wonderful sights on the east side of the park on our massive drive around the ring road. We got a little wet but nothing too horrendous and we were quite lucky in that we had a 4 hour window of no rain where we managed to put the tent up and even had a camp fire whilst eating our sandwiches. Just as we were about to go to the rangers talk the heavens opened and so we had to retire to the tent and read by torch light. I wasn't too pleased as I hadn't had much sleep the night before in the tepee but we will see what the morning will bring.
