Queens Park Suspension Bridge

It was the turn of Bruce to organise today's walk around Chester. Here he is admiring his portrait in the excellent Albion Inn, where the beer (Adnams) the food (haggis in Staffordshire Oatcakes - both original and veggie) and the friendly welcome were superb. We all decided to apply for the advertised vacancies.

Bruce did bring Eptas along and worked hard to make sure he passed the other pubs along the route. Another shot of the pair of them, along with Martin and Andy is here.

In addition to the suspension bridge, we also crossed Grosvenor Bridge and admired, but did not cross, the Old Dee Bridge.

On a day of superlatives, we obediently observed the second most photographed clock in England. Andy and I bought luxury tea at Bollands.
