The bookworm

Olivia has amazed us with her love of books this summer. On average she reads a full book a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. She reads at every opportunity and always has a book with her. This summer she has read on all modes of transport, in restaurants, in the waiting room at the doctors, in the waiting room at the dentist, in shops, as she's walking (!), just about everywhere. She has read most of the books in the above blip at least twice but can't decide on a favourite, although she really enjoyed The Secret Seven (Enid Blyton) and actually laughed out loud at some parts and she enjoyed The BFG (Roald Dahl).

We love that we never have to ask her to read, in fact we have to tell her to stop reading at night as I think she could quite possibly read all night!
