Pairi Daiza

A trip to the zoo was needed today for me and the kids. We had a later start then hoped for due to some very difficult behaviour from number one child.

However once we arrived we had a lovely time and child number one was actually quite delightful and charming. In the aquarium she was in awe of all the different types and sizes of fish and at one point said : "It's so fascinating. In fact I can hardly get the word out before I see something else that's even more fascinating!"

I love their curiosity. Highlights today were watching the elephants get fed and then watching the hippos get fed and we discovered that on the ship, in the background of this picture, there are loads of reptiles which was really interesting.
