It was quiet today

The snow always hushes everything...which was a pleasant way to end the morning. I managed to sneak out for a quick walk with my camera at noon, just before Claire was due off the school bus with a new friend in tow. Although it's been snowing intermittently since yesterday, there isn't much on the ground, but there is enough that the snow is transforming the landscape to winter white.

I found this little walking path over the creek, slid in between houses and back gardens from one paved road to the next. The American in me still finds it a bit odd to be effectively walking in other's backyards, but it was obviously meant to be used by the public, so I walked along.

I am reminded again that it is the little things that need noticing...
