It's a cold wind...

I went for a walk this afternoon along the marina. There was a fierce cold wind across the lake, it felt like it had come straight out of the Alps to take my breath away. I didn't walk for long and felt sorry for the seagulls and the ducks who had to stay. I had hoped for a refreshing stroll but gave up that thought after just a few minutes, racing back to the warmth of the car to warm my frozen fingers!
