Fallen home.

Noticed this bird's nest on my driveway adjacent to a pine tree.
It was obvious that it have been dislodged from its resting place in the branches above, probably by the high winds we have experienced lately.
I was aware of Myna birds flying in and out over recent times, so it was no surprise that they had chosen this particular tree for their nest building.
What is interesting is the intricate nature of the nest and it amazes me that these small birds have such expertise in the construction of their abode.

Will check next year to see if they return. I'll keep the nest so they will have to rebuild then.
