A potted reminder

It's one year ago this month since my wife had an operation for a brain aneurism and whilst in hospital, my sister in law purchased this potted Cyclamen and brought it in to cheer her up.
It ceased to flower and I forgot about it presuming that its survival had finished.
Quite a surprise when a few weeks ago fresh shoots became apparent and with some renewed attention this is the result.

A fitting anniversary reminder of the event twelve months ago.
