I'm not sure . . .

I was thinking this was Solomon's Seal, growing along the road's edge, under the trees. But when I looked it up to be sure, it doesn't quite look right. So, whatever it is, it has little red berries and there is plenty of it.

I was planning to mow grass this afternoon but along came the rain showers, so that was that. Now I'll have to do it on Friday. Otherwise we had a pleasant sunny day.

Our godchildren were over for a visit and, as usual, had a good time with the dog, and the chickens and turkeys.
