Trip to Glasgow

A fantastic first day in Glasgow!

Arrived around mid day and enjoyed lunch in Waxy O'Conners. A brilliant pub by Queens St station. It's very easy to get lost within this labyrinth of a bar.

After lunch we had a wander round the city centre where we discovered my new favourite coffee shop, Geek Retreat. They were doing a promotion where you get a free comic with every coffee bought. How could I NOT go into this place.

The rest of our day was filled with cocktails and a trip to our favourite Glasgow restaurant. (Menu is pictured above.)

It's just brilliant. McCombers was particularly proud of all her creations, and rightly so. Was a fantastic meal.
