Milngavie Reservois
Taken early this morning. Weather was cold but the air and the light were clean and crystal clear.
There are actually two reservois, Mugdock and Craigmaddie. The first opened in 1859 and the latter in 1896. They are used to store the water piped from Loch Katrine supplying the people of Glasgow.
Someone mentioned that the reason there are two was that one pipes Buckfast to Glasgow and the other pipes Special Brew. This is very believable, but this morning it all looked like healthy water.
