A Meadow With A View

This is the view that welcomes us as we crest the mound in the meadow each morning. To the right of this photo a wee burn runs down to the river. To the left an ancient castle surveys the scene.

This morning as Hugo leapt into the burn in pursuit of a flock of ducks nana watched as a deer made its way with silent grace towards cover in the woods beneath the castle.

There are worse ways to start the day.
