In these stones horizons sing

Today we had a day down Cardiff Bay, fitting in the temporary beach, Techniquest and a catch up with friends. I took many shots of the Millenium Centre, but every one pretty much included a huge crane to clean the front of it! So frustrating, but everywhere is preparing for the Nato Summit next week, so there is a real air of disruption preparation about the place. I have seen so many police vehicles, police officers, temporary security fencing and the start of temporary roadblocks over the last few days around Cardiff and Newport. Who knows the chaos that the actual summit will bring next week.

The Millenium Centre is a stunning building, both inside and out. It has become a post Christmas tradition of ours to see a show there. The words are not completely visible in this shot, but the English version is "In these Stones Horizons Sing" and the Welsh "Creu gwir fel gwydr o ffwrnais awen" (which translates as "Creating truth like glass from the furnace of inspiration").
