Friday with Merrick

His parents were getting an early start this morning, so Merrick spent the night at our house last night. As it turned out, we also got an early start. Merrick got up at 7:36. "C'mon Papa...let's go play cars."

We played cars, and I watched as Merrick jumped off the foot stool. Many times.

We later hit a couple of garage sales, did some shopping, baked a couple batches of cookies, and finally...Merrick rode his bike up and down the sidewalks with the neighborhood kids.

I guess I'll be in the dog house for not laying him down for a nap...but hey...we were busy.

Way behind on looking and commenting. Not enough hours in a nice Summer day.
