Meet Izzy

Izzy is a rescue pup, saved from a near-fatal flea infestation, and adopted by my grandson Dustin and his girlfriend, Kenzie. She now has a happy home with enough love to make up for all the bad stuff that happened to her in the first few weeks of her life. She's only about 10 weeks old and I think you can get a good idea of her size from the fact that she's sitting next to a TV remote that isn't abnormally large. She'll make it to about 8 pounds, maybe -- my guess is she's about 3 now, maybe 4. She might grow into her ears, but Dustin says he hopes not because he likes her the way she is. She's a little shy of strangers and barks protectively at visitors to her home and from the sound of her you just know she's found her forever home and is going to be just fine.
