Day 12. Alumni Game

Its our last full day today and a bit sad that we are leaving tomorrow. It's been a great day though.

A slow start to our day with a bit of a walk to get breakfast and an hour by the pool. Then we were off to watch our last game. It was an alumni game which means the current team play against a team of past players. You can see the score was 5-0 to the current team. The blip is both teams together.

After the game there was a tailgate. We have never been to a tailgate before. We got to the match early so we could help set the tailgate up. People bring along a BBQ and there is plenty of food and drink after the game. It's another social event which is put on by the parents. It was great...We loved our first tailgate.

After the tailgate we did a big shop for Tom and the boys in his house. We delivered the goods, collected Tom and took him out for dinner. After dinner we all went to see a band which was playing in the centre of Billings. We met up with our friends and had a drink with them. Toms house was hosting a team get together so I took him back home, said the teary goodbye and came back to our friends to watch the band which was called The Buzzy Beavers!

It was great. I was asked to dance by a cowboy and I can now dance the Montana way. We had such a good time....I really don't want to go home tomorrow.
