Sights you see

I ride a bicycle from time to time. I know that if you try to ride a bicycle without wearing shoes and socks, it can be a bit painful. So I was very pleased to see that a cyclist I spotted today was wearing shoes and socks. I have to say though, that I was rather perturbed to see that that was all he was wearing. Yes; stark b*****k naked apart from his shoes and socks. As my dear old Mum would have said; "The sights you see when you haven't got your gun".

The naked cyclist was spotted as we left Waddesdon Manor, where we had gone to see the Roman mosaic from Lod in Israel. It is currently on display at Waddesdon, its only display in the UK, before returning to a specially built museum in Israel. If you are at all interested in Roman history or mosaics, it is well worth a trip to see as it is almost complete; it really is quite breathtaking, and this will be the only chance to see it. It will be on display until November.
