Now, as I see it......

Allotment

After staying over with friends in South London last night, this morning we had a walk over to their new allotment where we were rewarded with lots of freshly cut vegetables to bring home.  The allotment had lots of photo opportunities ranging from all the plants and produce and the colourful and dilapidated sheds, to the resident fox who looked in good condition and was happy to stand and watch us, but not to let us close enough to take his photo.

We then had a walk round the edge of Richmond Park, on the way walking down a very strange road called Roedean Crescent, but known locally as 'Billionaires Row'.  It's a bit like walking along a deserted film set; all the houses are massive and mostly recently built after buying up and demolishing the previous massive house on the site; all probably worth well into eight figures, and largely ownd by foreign nationals who only use them for a short time each year when they are in the country.  Lots of very expensive cars outside but the effect is of a place totally devoid of people and atmosphere; quite a spooky feel to it!

I've back-blipped Saturday from the airshow we visited - here.
