Rickety Porch

Lunchtime walk with the dogs today. Nice and warm with a stiff breeeze.

Had to laugh in the woods - a couple of small children and dad wading in the stream - kids with 7 inch wellies in 6 inch deep water - and they were absolutely soaked. Just wonder how much bother dad was in when he got home!

The photo today is of a wooden porch structure that appears to be balanced precariously on top of a flight of stone steps leading up to the cottage door. It also appears to be taped to the wall! Presumably with flashing tape to keep water out. I think it could do with a lick of paint and varnish
