River Deben at Woodbridge

I met a friend this afternoon and we decided to do a four mile walk at Woodbridge, which was completely new to me although I spent the first 21 years of my life in that area. It took us through wooded areas and then onto the river wall along to the town, it was wonderful, I've not seen the river looking so lovely in a long time, the tide was in and it all looked so idyllic. It was lovely and warm, we caught up with each others news and enjoyed each others company for a few hours. We have planned another when I get back from Ireland next month.
We stopped by at a little tea room by the river for a cup of Earl Grey and a slice of Indulgence Cake, the cake was lovely - an oat biscuit base with a topping of nuts, seeds and dried fruit with an apple gel coating. Mm, quite moreish!
