Is summer over?

Is that what the severed sunflower is trying to tell me?

I think I could have saved it. I noticed it needed tied up or secured somehow last week. Oops. Then today when I went out I saw it had come to an unfortunate (and possibly premature) end.

I've not felt well today. So what's new eh? I wish someone would fix me. I did get a few things done that needed done but mainly I've left everything to do tomorrow. And I probably didn't feel as bad as the poor snapped in two sunflower.
