Power Boats

Tomorrow at 9AM sees the start from Cowes of the Cowes Torquay power boat race where the F1 of power craft race from here to Torquay and back at staggering speeds. Today some of the smaller boats were on show at the Royal Yacht Squadron Quay.

I hope to be at the start tomorrow to see the monster super fast craft which are likely to get to Torquay in about One Hour 15 minutes. After a parade at Torquay they then re-start for the return journey to Cowes reaching here in the early afternoon.

This is the first time the start has been close to the shore so am hoping to get some shots to blip. Watch this space.

Just noticed that this boat is the same colour as the flowers in yesterday's blip.
