But, then again . . . . .

Budding Engineer.

After doing our weekly shop yesterday, we needed to pop back to pick up a few missing items: clock batteries, plums and ice-cream; that took us several minutes. Since we were there, we stopped for a cup of coffee and, as we were drinking said coffee we also caught up with the newspapers and their puzzle pages. While I didn't run a stop watch, we were there for about an hour and a half; it's amazing how time flies when you're enjoying yourselves.

We actually left collecting the ice-cream until we were ready to leave and, while I was waiting for Mrs TD to the necessary, I noticed this young lady. She appears to be studying the detailed design of the shopping trolley, perhaps she'll come up with a solution to how they should be designed so that they steer in a sensible fashion across the incline of a super-market forecourt.

I’ve just posted Wednesday’s “Taken for a Ride.”
