piece & Harmony

Another piece of original art from my comics editing days at 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine. This is a Dredd-world character called Harmony, in a pun-heavy pin-up by Brighton-based artist Steve Sampson.

Steve had a great eye for design and an idiosyncratic, photo-reference inspired style that stood out in a decade where too many British artists looked to Simon Bisley for inspirations. Steve was rarely the readers' favourite, but I liked him and his work.
