goat for supper............

Second day of the Synod meeting and it was a long one! In the morning we had a church service and the last President joined us and was almost 2 hours late so of course we couldn't start until she came!!

After lunch the tradition at any meeting in Malawi is that the village always come to greet the delegates! So all the village traditional leaders come and church leaders and bring gifts. There were lots of different foodstuffs (to feed the 700 delegates) and these two goats were brought as a gift too!

I have to present a report at the meeting and unfortunately there was not enough time today so I have to go again tomorrow!!
