who had no intention at all of flying in the Falconry Display this afternoon at the Calverhall Family Day, nor did the next owl but 'Tommy' the little Marsh Harrier gave us a wonderful display, all courtesy of Hawkeyefalconry. Pudsey's owner spent alot of time getting children involved with the display but must have wished he'd taken heed of those famous words .....
Never work with children or animals!!

Despite a very few little hiccups our local Family Day has been a great success, the weather was very kind and the Red Arrows gave us a fly past with lights and smoke on on their way back from the Bournemouth Air Show (Show organisers' connections in high places!!)

That'll be something to share with Mr T when he returns from the Gliding Club later!!
