Working on the Dome

After yesterday's dull weather, today was a big improvement. It was cool in the morning, but warmed up nicely as the day wore on. Out of the sun, the wind still felt cold.

As I was walking along Clerk Street, coffee time, I could see the scaffolding on the tower and dome of the University of Edinburgh's Old College building. View it large and you can see the workmen. It is amazing how the scaffolding stays up as there doesn't seem to be anything to stop it falling down.
