One of the other pictures Mum had looked out was this one of me. We decided that it must have been taken when I was at Ravensdale Junior School; a photographer came to the school at the start of each year to take pictures for parents. I would have been six or seven at the time.

When I started my Equipping for Ministry course, I had a strong sense that at some point it would involve me revisiting the past, to help me understand how I've arrived at where I am. So it's good to find that this journal is helping to take me back to some of the important places, people and events in my life.
