Mono Monday Relax(ation)

It’s amazing that my mother is still independent enough to come and visit us by train. She’s 88 and needs a walking aid but she still manages to make the journey from Manchester to Milton Keynes two or three times a year.

It’s not easy to get a person, a suitcase, a walking aid and several bags onto the train without risking ending up in Manchester Piccadilly yourself. Once this is accomplished (with the help of a very nice station operative) I can breath a sigh of relief. My sister will be there waiting at the other end. Doors close, a quick wave, she’s off, and………relax!!!!
