Er....
...a bowl of clams! Sorry, that's all I could come up with. After a morning spent discussing e-security at school, I never even thought of taking photos. The rest of the day was spent cleaning equipment in the nursery, where I am going to be spending more time, at least for the moment. It is lovely to be working as part of a team!
As I walked home, some time after 4pm, I realised that a) I hadn't taken any photos
and b) there was a knobbly thing in my pocket.
When I pulled it out, it turned out to be a plastic pirate-figure that I had taken home by mistake. I thought I could take a fabulous picture of it at home. How wrong I was!
The pirate, who looked a bit like Mr T, really didn't want to be photographed, even though I found my grey card specially. So I resorted to blipping this bowl of clams, which I was attempting to cook with. The bivalves rebelled, and went tough, but the soup was still good, probably because it had red wine in it!
Now that the holidays are over, it's time for me to start cooking several nights a week. I've been very relaxed over the summer, keeping up the gluten-free eating, but letting Steve make most of the decisions, not to mention the salads, but it's back to business as usual from now on.
And just to prove it, I have a pile of aromatherapy lotions and potions to make tonight. The apothecary never sleeps.
