Reflections on an uninspired Monday

Missed any Mono Monday opportunities, so these reflections taken on the way back from a lazy meal by the beach are the best I can do.

Rose's birthday, and Patrick came round for breakfast. HH & I virtuously trotted off to the gym, while R, A & P went round the corner for a celebratory breakfast (digitaldaze will be able to guess where). Later Patrick went off to Rocinha and R & A to catch a bus down the coast for a couple of days.

HH and I spent the day trying unsuccessfully to concentrate on work (but I did have a helpful and enjoyable Skype call with my friend and colleague in France, who guided me through some of the finer points of my translation software).
