swathes and swathes

After arriving in Barcelona, getting the train into town from the airport and admiring the view of a lift shaft and lightwell from our hostel room window we went for a little orientation-potter around the Ramblas and Pl. Cataluña. Spotted this shop full of fabrics of all kinds, including the weird stuff grannies' coats are manufactured from. Definitely worth a poke even if you have no interest in textile or clothing manufacture. Whilst Edinburgh (still) has a couple of fabric shops that are arguably bigger they're nowhere near as interestingly ornate and definitely don't have any fabric with a 'shroom pattern...
