The Bob family
Went to the museum called the 'Story Of Berlin', it wasn't very interesting because I had pretty much learnt it all in GCSE History. So I found it quite boring! So I read the rest of the Poirot! It was very good (the book!)! :)
After going through the museum, there was the opportunity to go under it for a tour!
Basically during the Cold War and the threat of a Nuclear war starting. Germany was in danger of being part of it, so the government built approx. 15 nuclear missile bunkers around Berlin. This bunker could house around 3,500 people shelter from the radiation. So we decided to have the tour around the bunker (thankfully it was never used!!). It was actually very creepy but really interesting. It was massive! It looked like something out of a horror film! But as I was walking around it, I thought how amazing it would be to play Kick The Can, because it would be so scary!
We looked at the toilets and there were about 5/6 toilets for everyone in that bunker! The bunker only had enough food and water for about 2 weeks. And when the food would be distributed there was no supervisor to organise it, so it would be everyone for themselves! And after the two weeks, everyone would have to leave the bunker and go back up the top! Where they would ultimately die from radiation poisoning too, but they had delayed death by 2 weeks! After going down there, I don't think I would go in a bunker in the event of a nuclear war! It would be awful and just for two weeks of life!
Walked around a little bit afterwards.
Managed to watch German Tom and Jerry on the TV!! Whoop whoop! :)
The photo is when we went to Starbucks, it was too difficult to say our surname, so we just said our name was Bob!! :D
