Textures in Marrakech

A return visit to Marrakech. It is a very exciting city but very hot. The houses in the medina are all made from terracotta and situated in very narrow streets to keep the sun out. Many beautiful old wooden doors hide beautiful interiors with fountains and blue patterned tiles. We are staying at a riad in the Medina and like many houses has a roof terrace with shady areas, day beds,lots of pots and flowers, an ideal place to sit and drink mint tea.

I really like this view of the terrace, lots of pots, tiles, terracotta wall and wooden door - lots of textures for today's challenge.
