Watery Wednesday in Marrakech
A return visit to one of my favourite gardens in the world - Jardin Majorelle. This exquisite garden was developed by the artist Jacques Majorelle in 1947. Following his death in 1962, Yves Saint Laurent acquired the property who continued to develop the garden. Following YSL death a few years ago the property is now maintained by a
foundation to ensure it's continuing existence.
The garden is so unusual and features many water features against the blue and yellow of pots and terracotta paths. Huge bamboo co- exist with a wide variety of palms, cacti and succulents.
What a choice today..........in the end it was a photograph of a water lily pond with a wonderful reflection of a palm.
