Patience is a virtue

Patience is what I had a lot of today, as our son is leaving for Australia tomorrow on a years working visa. He hasn't even got all his clothes together. I am itching to get him organised and find out just how much he can get into that small backpack/suitcase.

He started the day by having a haircut and a visit to the dentist, things arranged at the last minute of course. Then we went out to buy another more suitable small bag for him. Later in the afternoon as he was getting his shoes together he realised that he had chucked out his sandles a few weeks ago. Then finally around 8pm I tried fitting his clothes into the backpack. Not surprisingly it wouldn't all fit and he has had to chuck a lot out. I've now ordered some of the compression plastic travel bags - so hopefully tomorrow morning we can fit a bit more in.
