Sutton Park
As you drive into Blackheath from Sydney along the Great Western Highway there is a wonderful park which is a haven for weary travellers. It's not unlike many parks dotted throughout Australia's country towns. CCN and I never ceased to be amazed at the standard of these parks. They're often a source of great pride for the local community and many are cared for by community service clubs like Rotary and Lions.
Sutton Park is a picture at the moment and carries on from the theme of yesterday - it's full of flowering cherries. It's not uncommon to see the rest area full of tourists heading west or in some cases heading home to the "Big Smoke".
