Woods

A quick walk through the woods at lunch, feeling bit grumpy really. Due to recent enticements more people are taking a turn round them. I know, I should be glad that more people are enjoying this beautiful space but sadly they seem to be leaving shedloads of rubbish behind them. The tranquility is being ruined. If I were to win the lottery (unlikely as I don't buy tickets) I would buy a wood and only let proper wood-loving people in!
As I was leaving I saw up on a high branch, a line of tiny white translucent fungi, quite quite beautiful.
This hoverfly was feasting on the one bit of bright colour at the edge of the woods.
