Kingfishers 1 family 0

I am swamped by work for reasons mostly of my own making at the moment, early starts and late nights and weekend working stealing Dave's computer. A wee Sunday afternoon break with all of us meeting up at the river, breathing in the fresh air, grabbed my folks too, down to see the kingfishers. But alas they proved a wee bit shy and didn't show. But the seals, herons, swans and ducks galore did and also did their best to be noisy and beautiful and even a wee but burpy to grab our attention. Seals burp. And cough. A lot. And quite loudly.
