View from The Shard

...and a damn fine one at that!

Today I left my flat and my "london life" to embark on the next step of my adventure - 3 weeks travelling UK and Europe with Mum!

After having a delicious breakfast and walk around Westminster with Hannah, I headed to Heathrow to greet Mum at the gates. Once she arrived we headed to our beautiful hotel near Paddington and relaxed with a couple of drinks.

I had booked us in to have dinner by The Thames before heading up The Shard to enjoy London's views at night. Dinner was amazing, and Mum and I had lots of fun catching up and drinking mimosas while enjoying looking at London from above.

It's hard getting a good shot through glass, but I got lucky with this one of St Paul's Cathedral and am absolutely stoked with the outcome!
