Another macro adventure...

... into the natural history minefield.

With a lack of knowledge and expertise, I wouldn't want to try to identify this little specimen that gently teased me on this fence this morning, fluttering away and returning to a point behind me several times.

Any experts out there who are willing / able to help me identify the little beast would be most welcome to give me a hint or two.
