Concentrating

He is really really ready for school. He is desperate to read. He can read, simple words and sentences like 'Sam is an ant.' and 'The pig hid in the bin.' but he is adamant that he isn't at school so he can't read! I really hope his enthusiasm continues when the homework starts next week.

Carys was awake in the night and woke this morning with a snot smeared face and feeling very sorry for herself. But she went off to school ok and was last seen by me doing PE in her full tracksuit ( it was about 18 degrees) because she didn't want to catch a worse cold!

Will spent the morning with N&P and then this afternoon, as promised I took him swimming. We will go again next week, while we still can in the afternoon when it is quiet.

Off to York tomorrow for the day with W. One last hurrah before school starts. Carys is excited because Daddy is doing school run.
